SUIDAKRA: Instrumental Version Of 'Fall Of Tara' Posted Online
December 3, 2007German melodic black/death metallers SUIDAKRA have issued the following update:
"We have a little suprise for you. Maybe some of you know the song 'Fall of Tara' from our 'Auld Lang Syne' album. To reduce some waiting time to our DVD/'best of' release, we've add an instrumental version of this song to our MySpace profile, which was arranged by [frontman] Arkadius."
Check out the song at this location.
SUIDAKRA DVD and "best-of" CD package will feature the band's Wacken Open Air 2007 performance and will be released in early 2008.
SUIDAKRA's video for the song "The IXth Legion" can be viewed below. The track comes off the group's latest CD, "Caledonia", which was released in Europe in November 2006 via Armageddon Music. The follow-up to 2005's "Command to Charge" was recorded by Martin Buchwalter at Gernhart Records studio in Siegburg, Germany and features artwork by Kris Verwimp. The album photography was handled by Axel Jusseit, who previously worked with the group on 2003's "Signs for the Fallen". The mastering was done by Michael Schwabe at Monoposto Mastering (SUBWAY TO SALLY, DIE TOTEN HOSEN) in Düsseldorf, Germany.
According to the band, "'Caledonia' adopts the lyrical concept of ancient Scottish history, which explains songtitles such as 'Highland Hills', 'Forth-Clyde' and 'The IXth Legion'."
